Description

A rare find Tabriz Museum Rug featuring a majestic floral medallion with balanced motifs. The rug is still in excellent condition given its 60-70 years old heritage. The colors remain vibrant, especially the exotic red field, making a good contrast with its border lining. Rare green and blue dyes are used in this rug for its border frame.

The perfect combination creates a visual depth of field that’s so mesmerizing. As if the garden comes alive and you can walk into it any moment.

The master weaver paid attention to very fine and intricate details of the floral patterns. A total of 24,189 hours are used to weave this art masterpiece. In simpler terms, if the weaver doesn’t sleep and rest, he/she would have spent 2 years 277 days 21 hours weaving this masterpiece!

What could be more valuable than art that’s created using life? A piece of life of the weaver was infused into this masterpiece. This Tabriz is a signed rug by Torabi

100% Wool Pile with a cotton foundation. All natural dyes. 285kpsi. This Tabriz is definitely a treasure for rug collectors.

The Garden of Eden

As you may have heard of the myths of the Eden Garden, it’s magical and full of life force. It is also called Terrestrial Paradise. Did it ever exist?

Among scholars who consider it to have been real, there have been various suggestions for its location at the head of the Persian Gulf, in southern Mesopotamia, where the Tigris and Euphrates rivers run into the sea and in Armenia.

The garden has a Tree of Life in the center where all life force is formed. The Tree of Life gives life and energy to every life form the nature desires. It is represented by the majestic medallion in the middle of the rug.

In return, the blossoming life forms surrounding the center source seemed to be supplying energy back to the mother source and protecting it.

This is believed to be one of the most powerful laws of nature – giving and in-returning. Enjoy this depth of life in this depth of field on this rug – The Garden of Eden.
