Tabriz is considered by many as the heart of Persian rugs and one of the most important rug weaving centers in the world since this city has a long history of producing hand-knotted rugs.
Expertly hand-knotted with the finest wool and cotton, this unique 7’4″ x 11′ Persian Tabriz rug was a labor of love. It took approximately 450 days to knot this 30-40-year-old high piled rug with a knot density of 196 KPSI.
With its beautiful mix of beige, blue, orange, and brown, it’s a captivating Herati-designed masterpiece.
