Catalina Rug has been in the rug business for three generations. Through the years every generation has remained steadfastly committed to maintaining the highest standards, both in terms of the rugs we offer and our customer service.

Catalina Rug started off as a family-run business in Iran. Our U.S. store, launched in 1998, is located in Redondo Beach in Southern California and managed by the owners, Jeff Shadkam and Rose Shadkam.

As the 3rd generation in his family to be in the rug business, Jeff Shadkam has over 44 years of first-hand experience in this field. His attention to detail and ability to quickly assess a fine hand-knotted rug are second to none.

Rose Shadkam has over 22 years of experience in rug business. She loves using her creativity to help customers choose the perfect rug for their home and offers plenty of suggestions and tips regarding rug placement and other details.
