Catalina Rug has been in the rug business for three generations. The owners Jeff Shadkam and Rose Shadkam started the business in Iran then launched a small front store in Redondo Beach, Southern California in 1999.
Jeff, with over 35 years of experience, is the 3rd generation in his family to be in the rug business and Rose has over 17 years of experience.
Catalina Rug loves helping customers choose the perfect rug for their home. They were the first rug store online and is now serving rug lovers and collectors worldwide.
Catalina Rug currently operates in a large warehouse in the city of Torrance, Southern California.

I started first in Iran, Tehran, and then I moved to the United States. And the front store, I start in Redondo Beach, California. Twelve years it was there and 10 years in this warehouse. We carry from Persia, hand-knotted like Tabriz, Heriz, Sarouk. And from the Pakistan, we carry Peshawar, and we carry Kazak; and Indian, we carry Jaipur rug.
