Catalina Rug

1) What inspired you to begin your Persian rug collection?

We had just moved and I was looking for a kind of eclectic boho vibe and fell in love with the rich colors and classic designs of Persian rugs.

2) How long have you been collecting rugs and how many rugs do you own so far?

I started my collection with Catalina rugs (I found them online) and am the proud owner of three rugs now!

3) What particular selection criteria do you have when buying a rug? Please share your tips and tricks with other rug enthusiasts.

I try to think about the purpose of each room I’m buying for and what feeling I want it to have. I just found a gorgeous rug for library in rich orange and brown tones that are setting the colors for the whole room. I always was taught the rug anchors the room!

4) Why did you Choose Catalina?

I found Catalina online and was amazed that their large selection of rugs in all sizes and colors and price points! They are so patient and happy to show you as many rugs as you like. The one a bought two years ago is still stunningly beautiful so when it was to update my bedroom and library I knew exactly where to go!
